TO DEVELOP-TO INHABIT

This publication by Caterina Figuerola and Ibon Bilbao exposes and analyses the different strategies for the promotion and execution of social housing developed in recent years by the Municipal Administration in Barcelona, selecting a series of projects that demonstrate the maximum number of work methods, programs and innovative proposals guaranteeing architectural quality at the same time.

‘To develop-to inhabit. Strategies for social housing in Barcelona’ is a choral book in which all those involved in the process of creating and living in have had a voice. A voice that has been materialised through a wide variety of documents: drawings, plans, renderings, photographs, reflections, debates, testimonies… That is, a collection of situations that invite reflection.
