The Creative Journey of Design

“The Creative Journey of Design” is an exhibition of final degree projects (TFG) in Interior Design and Graphic Design from the 2024 course at the Escola Superior de Disseny i Arts Plàstiques de Catalunya, Campus Vic.

This year, the exhibition focuses on the creative process, a fundamental element that defines the practice of design. Far from being a straight or predictable path, the creative process is a journey full of challenges, unexpected turns, trial and error. It is a journey that requires patience, curiosity, and perseverance to reach a final solution.

Each piece you will see is a unique display of this journey, reflecting the talent, effort, and personal vision of each student sharing their work in this exhibition.

However, this exhibition is not just a celebration of the end of an academic cycle; it is also a tribute to beginnings. For this reason, the participation of first-year students has been included, who, through the first-year Artistic Drawing course, have had the opportunity to explore and remind us of the strength and energy of the first steps into the world of design. Thus, this space becomes a symbolic crossroads, where the culmination of the final projects of the graduates meets the enthusiasm of the new talents starting their journey.

We invite you to explore and play with the ideas you discover, let yourself be inspired by the stories each piece tells, and most importantly, allow yourself to imagine beyond what is visible. Who knows? Perhaps this experience will encourage you to start your own creative journey, to design, create, and bring your own ideas to life.

This is a space to celebrate design in all its richness and complexity, a space to understand that the true value of design is not just the final result, but everything that is lived and learned along the way.
