Norway has carried out a radical modernization of its museums. Two of the most prominent – the Munch Museum in Oslo and the Kunstsilo in Kristiansand – are the work of Estudio Juan Herreros andJens Richter from Madrid, and Mestres Wåge, MendozaPartida and Bax Studio from Barcelona, respectively.

On Thursday, June 27, there will be a jointly organized talk with the Norwegian Embassy, featuring Jens Richter, Magnus Wåge, and Mara Partida to discuss their projects and their work experience in Norway. Notably, the new Munch Museum is a newly constructed vertical museum, and the Kunstsilo is an innovative transformation of a classic silo. Both represent a radical change for the urban landscape and the art exhibitions they house.

Jens is a frequent lecturer and invited critic at various universities and academic institutions in Europe, North America, and China.
