The exhibition of the 4th edition of the Architecture Exhibition continues its tour through the Library Network of the Barcelona Provincial Council and this month is located at the Marta Mata Library in Cornellà de Llobregat.

This exhibition, the result of a competition held in 2021 by the Barcelona division, playfully and flexibly presents the various works submitted to the “Catalan Architecture Exhibitions” program—in this case, the 4th edition in Barcelona—displayed on a series of panels placed within different modules that make up the exhibition, inviting visitors to interact and explore the displayed material.

The material is arranged in different wooden modules: a combination of boxes and file cabinets that allow varying degrees of content exposure. It also enables the construction of a narrative thread in the staging of the system, which changes according to the space where it is installed, adopting different configurations. Accessibility criteria are especially taken into account, approached from a broad perspective.

The exhibition, designed by Salvestudio—a team formed by Jordi Quetglas and Mireia Costa—is quick and easy to assemble while minimizing packaging materials, with the exhibition module itself serving as the container for the displayed items. Produced under the direction of Salvestudio at the Estudi Ferran Sendra carpentry workshop in Cornellà de Llobregat, led by architect Ariadna Sendra, the exhibition also aims to highlight the added value and business innovation of the industry that supports architects.
