Presentation of the book ‘Active mobility in La Garrotxa’ by Francesc Magrinyà, one of the editors of the work. The publication is a collective work which analyses the challenges of the transition towards a new mobility in the region of La Garrotxa, from the current moment of high motorisation towards more sustainable, active modalities and appropriate to the context of climate change and energy, collecting proposals and initiatives that are already being carried out.
The event, organised by the Centre for Territorial Sustainability (CST) and the UPC’s IntraScapeLab research group, aims to encourage debate in the context of the May 28 municipal elections.
Francesc Magrinyà
Civil engineer from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia (UPC) and PhD in Urbanism from the ENCP and Paris/Sorbonne. Associate Professor of Urban Planning at the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering and at the UPC Sustainability Institute and coordinator of the EXIT-UPC Research Group (Engineering, Networks, Infrastructures and Transport).
